I did my first paid photography session at the age of 16. Following highschool I pursued a career in journalism and was a reporter/photographer and editor for several community newspapers. Following that I moved into graphic design where I spent about 20 years working with local, national and international clients. Of course photography was always part of the work I did in each of those careers.
About 10 years ago I made the decision to exclusively pursue my first love which is photography. If I have to be up at 3am to get on a plane to the north to photograph for the day, I’m eager to wake up. This told me what I was really passionate about.
While the bulk of my work these days is commercial photography, I do take time to create images of the world I see around me and share the beauty that I find.
