As a retired police sergeant, I now have time to look for and appreciate the quiet and peaceful aspects of my world. I do not have to paint "for the market" but rather for what inspires and challenges me, My subject matter varies greatly and I find that sooner or later, someone will share my appreciation for the scene I have painted. And THAT makes it all worth while.
I work in watercolors, oils, pen and ink and I have been a published cartoonist for over 60 years.
