About:This large droplet is the appreciation of water as sustenance for all of life. Top portion is a photograph I took of a large plant in Florida when visiting my Mom to the bottom portion of the water edge up north in New Foundland Canada. The singular leg with flipper represents the diving into the primodial waters of life. At the extreme top is a whales tail and just about a rendering of a star fish I used from Ernst Haeckel. I truly was inspired by this biologist, naturalist and artist of his study of various sea life species and plants. I wanted to include in this artwork a signature tribute to his work as well, of his appreciation of the life cycle and understanding the weave of connections in nature.
