Diane Birch is an artist who lives and works in Guernsey, Channel Islands.
After studying a degree in Textiles Art at Loughborough College of Art and Design, she worked as a Textiles Designer, supplying designs for various interior design companies in the UK and US. During this time Diane decided that she she wanted to follow a career path that involved more daily interactions with others rather than just her designs!. She continued her education, completing a PGCE in Art and Design and has been teaching Art to secondary age students for over 20 years.
When time allows Diane continues her own Art practice, particularly enjoying working in bright colours and exploring texture. This is often in acrylic paint, but also can be in linoprint and stitch. Diane also takes commissions.
