A palette of no non-sense raw strokes, vibrant colors, faith and humanity embody Mireille Des Rosiers’ work. “We all have subtle or deep imprints in our lives coming from those who have come, have gone, or those we may long to know. I enjoy keeping the energy in motion, radiating inspiration through a narrative that triggers feelings of hope, faith and healing,” says Mireille.
Born in Haiti, Des Rosiers grew up in Canada before anchoring in San Diego. She obtained a B.A. from Université de Montréal and studied Creative Process at UCSD. Since her professional debut in 1989, her paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Caribbean, Canada and the U.S. Her latest work includes a series of portraits of imaginative people’s faces.
