artist, I investigate the ways in which the creative process happens. I create
sculptures and drawings. My priority is space; I have use two aspects of
creating space, the 2-d and the 3-d. The act of creating manifests through the
process in combination of materials that allow for immediate application and

A few of
the artists that have inspired and influenced my work are Rebecca Warren, Rodin,
David Smith, Henry Moore, Arshile Gorky, Jackson Pollock, Elizabeth Murray,
Anish Kapoor, Richard Serra, Ellsworth Kelly, Anne Truitt, De Chirico, El
Greco, and Tiepolo. Art movements that inspire me as a creator are Surrealism, Cubism,
Minimalism, Constructivism, Abstract Expressionism, Spatialism and Conceptual
The sculptures are made out of air-drying white clay. This clay allows the sculpture to be immediate and more pure than other types of process in sculpture. Line and movement become important in a latter part of the development of the sculpture. After, this process the sculptures are cast in bronze.
