I have always been someone who enjoys art, but it wasn't until my senior year of high school that I really got into photography and it's been a big part of my life ever since. Photography is my way of capturing the world around me, whether it's the details of an exotic plant or the architecture of an old building.

- Honorable mention in the 2007 Canon Amateur Photo Contest: Only in Hawaii - Like nowhere else on earth, was one of the top thirty photos displayed in the exhibition in April 2007
