Part of the River Current Series: There are several families of eagles within a stone's throw from our home on the river. We often see the adults hunting the river and woods. Late one afternoon, two young eagles were perched on a fallen tree in the middle of the river. As we passed them, they continued to bask in the delightful sunlight, hardly noticing us as we floated on by them.
