By the time Josephine arrived, the opening ceremony was about to end. I remember she stood there, having a quick glance at the artworks on display. When she saw my artworks, she just paused for a moment.
There I was, standing not far from her, witnessing that precious moment, knowing that she was moved by the sun dried vegetables just like how I was moved when first saw it.
Perhaps, she is like me, coming from humble beginnings, and then we had a dream, we believed and we made it. The sun dried vegetables reminded us of our struggles and perseverance, and most importantly, reminding us to remain humble.
Josephine's friend "cut and pasted" us, so that we could have a photo together in front of my artworks.
