A CHAIR FOR CHAIR-ITY, Part I
The
General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) located in Redmond, OR; organizes an
annual fundraiser called CHAIR-ITY for CHILDREN.
This
chair (pictured) is one I personally selected for this project. Once completed,
it will be chosen/sponsored by a local business, who will then place it in their
establishment for a silent auction. It will remain on display for only one
month, the month of April.
At the end of April, the highest bidder will take
home this chair and the proceeds from it goes to the Sparrow club; a nonprofit
organization that assists children in medical crisis and their
families.
My
theme for this chair (we create our own) is "A
Place to Hang Your Heart." I hope you will take a peek from time to time
to see its progress
