I really enjoy being in the bog, letting my eye wander down the watery edges of the mat of vegetation. I love how it is a place of uncertainty, where land and water intermingle. There is so much going on botanically that it can be overwhelming. Only by slowing your breath, and letting your eyes soften, can you begin to make sense of all that you are seeing.
