For most of my life bald eagles were basically wiped out here in Lake County, and I assumed I'd never see one. This painting celebrates the miracle~ now I see eagles around my home pretty regularly. So cool. This one was sitting at the very top of a bur oak in a field by the road I was driving the other day. I sat at a red light, transfixed by the sight, and memorized the moment as well as I could.
24x36" canvas, with wide gallery-wrap edges that are painted black. Wired and ready to go.
