The idea for this painting came to me in a flash one morning. I was thinking about how the strings of felted flowers I have in my studio look hanging in front of my red cabinet and it hit me~what a fun painting it would make! I went straight to my studio and got to work. It was a joy to paint all that red and then play with it, modifying it with pinks and oranges. The flowers all seemed to paint themselves ~ it makes my heart happy!
