About

Pam grew up in Florida and Germany and finally settled in Tucson Arizona in the 70's.  She finished a degree in Studio Fine Arts from the University of Arizona, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Her work has earned international attention and was featured in the 2000 North Light Publication's book "The Best of Watercolor - Splash 6".  Pam has earned numerous juried show awards over the past 20 years.  Her work has been sold in galleries, museums and specialty shows in Arizona and New Mexico, including the Taos Lineberry Museum and the Albequerque Museum of Fine Art.  Pam currently works mainly on commissions and illustrations out of her home in Tucson.  She has illustrated two children's books and is now working on a series of magazine paper collage and acrylic.

Over the years she has taught various classes and work shops on the handling and control of watercolor.

Pam's paintings incorporate a large variety of subject matter including desert flora and landscapes, figurative work, children's portraits, and experimental abstracts.  She works in many mediums including gouache, acrylic, oil, silk dyes and a smattering of fine art print making processes...though watercolor is her preferred choice.

Vivid color, subjective matter, textured backgrounds, are all trade marks of Pam's exceptional paintings.... take a look!
