Most of my works are acrylics.  There are two reasons I have decided not to continue painting in oils: (1) The volatile solvents used are carcinogenic.  (2) Most people just dump the used solvents down the drain, and they end up in streams and rivers hurting aquatic life there.   Using water-based emulsions, in my opinion, is far more environmentally responsible for the trout and salamanders.
