As I said in my last entry, I am now living in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. I have been involved in a building project on my new house, which took a lot of my time, with little opportunity for painting, but I have produced my first painting of the area, and hope to do more in the not-too-distant future. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast, with its spectacular rock foundations and some glorious sandy beaches, together with plenty of Welsh castles, provides plenty of inspiration!
The image below is of my painting, of Tresilian Bay, on the stunning Heritage coast, and is of Tresilian Bay, just west of Llantwit Major beach, looking west to St Donat's. It can be viewed in the 'Coastline, Boats and the Sea' gallery.
