Working in aerospace is an unexpected but fulfilling match; every part inspected tells a story of engineering, intention, and innovation. There’s a similarity to art in this work—a need for discipline and a passion for detail that goes beyond the surface. Just as an artist strives for their piece to evoke emotion or meaning, I aim for my inspections to uphold safety and excellence.
In a sense, I view the work I do as sculpting the invisible framework that ensures every part’s integrity. This perspective is influenced by my love for structure and problem-solving, skills honed through mentors who taught me the technical and nuanced sides of assembly. My creative outlet lies in finding unique ways to bring organization and structure to complex projects. Recently, I built a rolling storage cart for my garage, bringing my love for creating tangible, useful items into my own space.
