| | This Nevada Gem Variscite is hand selected for my jewelry by one of the owners of two mines in Nevada. I send her photos of the necklaces I make with her stones and of my favorite stones that she sends. Thus, I get some really outstanding stones from these mines!
Interestingly enough, variscite and turquoise grow next to each other. Variscite lacks the copper that the turquoise has. However, I find that variscite is much more varied and has some really interesting and unusual colors and patterns.
