These are only 18" on a side, but triangles are modular, so the next size up is a yard, then 4'6" on a side, which starts to sound much more explorable.
Also notably restricted by being on a plane surface (i.e. my floor!) - it is clear that given full freedom from a flat plane these would fold down as well as up, like the crenellated valance of a nudibranch!
Also also these prototypes are not dyed/painted yet and only use 1-8 triangles, my goal is to get to 18 and hopefully 36 by Friday!
