| My name is Angella Ocheltree. I am a native of Cobb County, Georgia who started chasing the American Dream back in the 1980’s. I was born with loads of creativity, and for some reason also with that entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to throw yourself into your business ideas and work unreasonably long hours in hopes of making it big. I had several businesses with varying levels of success, and then got swallowed up by Corporate America for a few years. Art soon took back stage to business, but back in 1999, I felt a strong internal pull to return to my roots, resigned from my job and arrived back in Georgia from New York City on 9/11/1999.
After returning to Georgia and somewhere between jobs (just after the 9/11/2001 NYC terrorist attack –interesting timing), I was commissioned to create life-sized sculptures of fraternal twins (“A Day at the Beach”).
