| Cupcakes are among the sweet foods that have been the focus of my paintings for the last several years. My whimsical, colorful painting style incorporates cupcakes and other desserts in compositions including gardens, still lifes, New York City Landmarks, and homage to modern artists. While the rise of cupcake bakeries and comfort food shops provide a momentary nosh or nibble; my cupcake paintings provide pleasure for a lifetime. I have been a professional artist for twenty-eight years. With my husband Bill,we created Sculptured Hand Designs full time for over twenty years. Since then, I created whimsical cat paintings, flower and food paintings that led me to my current work.
