Mix Media: Muslin Fabric, Acrylic paint, Crushed Jingle Shells, Photo Transfer, Needle hoop frame.
About: I have such a kindship with animals and birds especially. Crows always seem to visit me everyday in the afternoons at the beach in summer time where I teach art to children right out side the studio is a field where they perch on branches. I enjoy there greetings each and every day nudging me to take a break to sit and commune with them in nature among the subtle whispering sounds of the ocean in the not so far distant. Crows are very wise birds and truly have alerted me to weather changes, especially one time of warning me of a hurricane before hearing the news weather forcast. This art work of a Crow perched on a branch is my appreciation of their stellar grace, glisten black feathers and of their vocie of "caw...caw,caw.....caw" echo's forth. I have grown to intuitively understand their certain vibratorial expressions and the crushed jingle shells around this background are respresenting the celestial nature of these wonderful birds.
