2011 "Best In Show" Smoky Mountain Fiber Art Festival Art Competition

Color pouring is a unique and interesting artform.  This 5'x3' canvas was exciting to use an acrylic pouring technique.  It makes a very dramatic background.  In this particular piece I also poured at an angle to show movement of the water.  Adding handmade paper texturing to the Blue Heron and water plants added an additional depth to the piece.
