Starting my artistic journey as a watercolorist in 1980, my lifelong exploration of various mediums ultimately evolved into Flower Sculptures in 1995. Born from my love of nature and environmental advocacy, this collection features over 40 species of hand-sculpted wildflower and garden flower pins, necklace pendants, and hair clips. Each piece is meticulously crafted from 140 lb. professional strength watercolor paper, hand-painted with acrylics, and finished with a waterproof sealant to create a realistic botanical rendering. I believe that despite environmental challenges, the earth still “laughs in flowers,” serving as a beautiful reminder of our planet's immense diversity and resilience. With pieces sold nationally, my hope is that every accessory carries this powerful message of nature's beauty and endurance.
