Life is about second chances. Being a potter is the first profession I ever had a crush on. It's pretty much the only thing I did in college. But, being young and fickle, I also fell in love with writing. My long-time "day job" is writing and directing corporate films and videos. But over the years, I've often wondered where my first love would have taken me.

Literally the day our daughter left for college, I decided to pick up my relationship with clay where I'd left off. I love making pottery that people want to use in their lives every day. Vessels that they respond to because of shape, color, and texture.

What other art form do you get to hold in your hands? That makes it personal.

When you get a second chance in life, you need to grab it, right?
