painting the section of Smith Rock known as "Monkey Face" for it's similar appearance of to a monkey.

7/31/18In the middle of July we held a class at Hobby Lobby, in Bend,
on painting a puppy.

11/15/16The Santa I paint are inspired by Mary Carole. Years ago she shared her first Santa painting me.
I have painted many Santa's with trains and Santa's List in them.
I still consider Mary Larson Carole a mentor and a friend. |

8/19/16Absolutely lovely to paint at 7:30am. It was getting hot when we left at 9:30 AM, and the honey bees were out buzzing their critique. |

8/12/16This would be a good day to watch the sea with a breeze and light clouds to keep a balmy temperature.
I got tired of painting rocks--so I switched to a seascape. |
