Woven Textures was created especially to be part of an exhibition in New York's Chelsea Market.
Originally a factory, the Market's walls were exposed brick and had been outfitted with acrylic holders for the artwork that floated out from the surfaces. The challenge prompted me to work on wonderful textured papers instead of my more usual stretched canvases. And to echo some of the constructed factory components that were part of the venue.
