A CHAIR FOR CHAIR-ITY, PART II
The title of this chair, A PLACE TO HANG YOUR HEART, did not manifest itself until I began painting. Of course I had in mind what the subject matter would be...last year! I had come across a word puzzle/game with the word 'heart' in the phrase. For example, 'Take heart' or 'Heartland'. Being whimsical at times, I decided to incorporate a heart symbol in place of the word heart. Thus began the creative process. Once the design was created and complete, I transferred it using carbon paper. The pictures tell the story.
