About

Several years ago, a couple of evening courses at ACAD (Alberta College of Art and Design) in basic silversmithing ignited something in me I never knew existed. Since then, I have taken additional silversmithing courses at Chinook Learning Centre.

I continue to court wonders of mixed materials and design as they are unveiled  to me. I strive to learn and improve. I value quality of workmanship, and enjoy the energy created with asymmetrical designs. My favorite materials to work with are virgin and reclaimed Sterling Silver, rough nuggets and my imagination.
I spend my afternoons with my dog, Chica, in my basement studio, trying to make sense in metal of the designs that present themselves to me. I love the flowing qualities of nature, the preciseness of architecture, and the juxtaposition of mixed and sometimes unexpected materials.
