Exhibiting at the Wolf Sanctuary in Mafra Portugal

On Dec. 13, 2008 I had an opening of recent artworks at the Portuguese Wolf Sanctuary in Mafra on the subject of wolves.  This extraordinary animal is in danger of becoming extinct in many parts of the world.  A small but effective group of biologists and volunteers run a recuperation center for abandoned and abused wolves in Portugal.  The wolves will never go into the wild but are looked after in excellent surroundings with the added benefit of educating people and promoting environmental awareness.  A proportion of the proceeds of sales of the artworks goes to the Center.  Images from this exhibition can be viewed under 'Iberian Wolves'.
