As a
native born Louisiana artist, I began to explored my creativity from a very young age. I
spent many of my early years on a ladder drawing on my school’s blackboards,
windows and walls. Creative endeavors are my life’s joy and comforts. As a now retired
Realtor living in San Diego CA. I utilize my time drawing, painting, listening
to music, dancing, cooking, sewing, gardening, playing the piano and enjoying my most recent fun and exciting venture, learning to speak Spanish. There is not enough time in any given day to fulfill my joy of learning and exploring creative adventures.
In 1995 after raising 3 children ( all whom became artist by profession) I decided
to begin studying the medium I remembered to be the most exciting, Watercolor! After
eight years of instructions, workshops and classes with many well-known
watercolorist and multi media artist, I began to enter my paintings in exhibits and shows
throughout San Diego. In spite of my attachment to most of my paintings many of
my originals have sold. Watercolor is my first love but I find painting in
acrylics and oil to be very exciting and relaxing.
My goal is to put together a collection of paintings representing all of the
things I feel passionate about, such as wine, celebrations, vineyards, dancers, people,
roses, beautiful places, inviting doors and windows.
