This pastel is only 51/2 by 71/2 inches. It is one of the smallest pastel landscapes I have ever completed. The next miniture pastel that I did was from a photo I took in April of Sunnyland in Rancho Mirage. It was said that the gardens of this desert were fashioned after Monet's color palette.
