These portraits are from my PhD project developing Portrait Therapy, using portraiture to help patients attending a day hospice in Wiltshire revision their self-identity. In this project the patients directed how they wanted to appear in the portraits, and I used this as a brief. The exhibition was held at Swindon Museum and Art Gallery in 2017 and was supported by the Arts Council England.
