UNDER THE SEACLIFF PIER

UNDER THE SEACLIFF PIER

$335

Originally the 500 foot Boardwalk to the S.S. Palo Alto, a famous party ship converted from a WW 1 experimental tanker made of poured concrete, that featured a beautiful white-linen restaurant, a heated pool, carnival booths and the main deck which became an exotic dance floor. I still meet people who say their parents used to go there to dance and dine overlooking the ocean.

The pier, along with the ship, was badly damaged in the gigantic storms of 2018 and destroyed in 2023 by monster storms.

This painting was captured with the finest French acrylics over a 11 by 14 inch gallery wrap canvas by local artguy Vern Scharf, and protected for the ages with multiple coats of deliciously glossy varnishes.
