DOROTHY TAKES THE CHICKENS TO THE BEACH
DOROTHY TAKES THE CHICKENS TO THE BEACH It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood and Dorothy slips into a palm-shaded nap to dream of life with opposable thumbs, where she can open doors, work can openers and drive to the beach whenever she wants.
In this dream, she’s loaded some of her favorite neighborhood chickens into an old Porsche she found idling in the parking lot of the Honokaa Country Market and they are headed at a breakneck speed to the beach for a day of fun in the sun and a little hunt and peck and maybe another chicken herding session.
This dream day was captured in Genuine Doggy-Vision© with the finest French acrylics by former dog-herder and Santa Cruz artguy, Vern Scharf and then coated with layer upon layer of deliciously glossy varnish rendering it highly peck resistant.
