Wild Rose Wood Art (Rosemary Thomas &Gerry Bordeleau)
Beautifully unique, hand-crafted woodwork created by local artisans in Calgary AB, Canada.

Wild Rose Wood Art was established by local wood-working artisans, Rosemary Thomas and Gerry Bordeleau, earlier this year out of a small workshop in Calgary. Through their devotion to salvaging spectacularly unique (exotic and local) woods, as well as their passion for emphasizing the subtle, organic, and vexing natural aesthetic of various woodgrain, textures, and the rich earthy tones inherent in the wide variety of woods used in their pieces- they have established a reputation for a particular attention to detail and a cohesive beauty in their works. Rosemary is becoming quite well known in the carving community for her whimsical and meticulously detailed sculptures, lovingly referred to as "Gnome Homes". These are carved from salvaged Cotton Wood bark, and are each one-of-a-kind. Customized Jewellery chests, Curio cabinets, display cases, as well as Keepsake, tea, and apothecary boxes embellished with stones, shells, fossils and metals are available by special order.
