I have some friends who have met Mr. Green and some who know of Mr Green (but have never met him), so I just thought I'd let them know that I had a visit from him yesterday.
We had a pretty heavy rain storm yesterday morning and right afterwards I had my visit from Big Bob. Our visit wasn't very long, but I really enjoyed seeing him after such a long absence.

Until the next time you drop by Bob...bye.

Spent most of today still trying to get over the cruddy way I've been feeling for the last few days. One would think that after 3 days of rest that I'd be back on my feet and ready to tackle the world....not.

Today I spend the moring finishing up a painting that I started a few days ago and it turned out somewhat better than I expected. I decided that I wanted to do my interpretation of the skyline of Dallas (a bit abstract, but still recognizable). The background is my recollection of what the "old" downtown skyline looked like back in the 50's and the foreground is what it looks like today. Like I said, a bit abstract, but still recognizable. As soon as I can get a picture of it I'll put it on the site.

I also have to finish a quadtyck....don't know if that's a real word or not. Anyway, I did an abstract for a friend who's birthday is coming up this weekend. I know he likes circles and I used 4 small canvases to create one painting. I think he is really going to like this piece because it is soooo colorful and just a tad bit unusual. Need a picture of this one before I let go of it.

Well, it's bedtime so goodnight all.
