Tonight was a great night because I got to see and visit with my old friend Carol Burnett. She has a one-woman show going around Texas right now and I saw her Ft Worth performance at the Bass Hall tonight.
The one thing I can say about Carol is that she hasn't changed in the 40+ years since I first met her. She is still funny, cheerful, honest and a "normal" person.
Success has not spoiled Carol Burnett.
Another thing I will say for Carol is that she is aging very gracefully....Even though she is 15 years my senior, she acts and moves like a girl of 18.
After a very exciting evening, I think I need to wind down so I can go to bed.
