The huge
winter cactus was the magnet to sit down and begin on the painting. I
honor the Giver of my talent of painting by that I wrote His name on 3
pictures hanging on the back wall of the painting (יהוה -YaHUaH). In
front you see an oil lamp with 2 wicks in flame; the lamp is hewn from
Jerusalem stone. There is also a little psalm book, which a sister send
me from Yerushalayim on the table and right from the flowerpot a yellow
case for sweets ;). For this painting I used the back side of a drawing
pad which I prepared with acrylic grounds for pastel toned into purple
paint.
