Classes may include beginners as well as experienced artists wanting a bit of extra help. The classes are small to allow for group and one on one instruction. All students will complete a few glazed pieces of art and come away with new friends and an appreciation for potters and their skills!
A variety of ceramic art topics are taught including:
creating ceramic art on the potters wheel,
clay building from slabs, coil, pinch methods, using extruders, sculpting and enhancement techniques,
safety and maintenance,
glazing techniques.
