Magnificent Magnolia
Transparent splashes of watercolors or vivid stokes in oils allow me to capture nature's beauty.  Flowers of spring and summer, simple sunsets or trees in fall, as well as icy and  snowy landscapes of winter are just a few sources of my creations.  Surrounded by woods and rolling countryside, my subject matter is ever changing and always available.

Working in plein aire or from my photography from seasons past, I never tire of finding the right scene to paint.  My watercolors are often enhanced with ink for richer depth and defintion.  My oils have some evidence of pointalism at times...and impressionistic represention is the best way I can describe my work.

I experiment with new methods and am constantly aiming for perfection, something that never will be achieved but always inspires me onward.  If you have been inspired through my art, then my goal is complete.

My work is currently displayed at the Damselfly Gallery in Midway Kentucky.  Just off I-64 8 miles west of Lexington, it is worth the trip to see all the shops and eateries, not to mention seeing over 100 Kentucky Artists in the number one art vendor in Kentucky. I also have work at  the newly esrablished Dogwood Art Gallery, 525 MainStreet, Shelbyville KY.  Hope to see you there.
Don't forget to visit my blog and leave a message.  I would love to read your feedback.
