I have always loved working in graphite pencil as it is possible to capture fine detail. As time went on, however, I wanted to be able to add colour yet continue to produce detailed work. I discovered coloured pencil and fell in love with it. Creating a piece of artwork using coloured pencils does take a tremendous amount of time. Colours have to be built up in layers but the end result is well worth it.
