I'm taking my art on the road this summer. Time to visit friends and family AND have some concentrated painting time in the outdoors. Plein air painting is different than studio painting in that there are the elements to consider.... mostly the light changes quickly and the light is what we paint!! I am eager to learn more and to see the glorious mountains that I left behind 8 years ago in Colorado and New Mexico. I will post new paintings from the western US this summer. It feels quite adventurous to be doing this with my Jack Russell sidekick. My commitment is to be the best painter that I can be and to share my view with the world as I post on Instagram and FB.
