Many years ago when you had a studio in Oxford, Md. my husband and I visited your shop and bought a beautiful hen. You told us it was the first bird you had carved with a turned head (carved 4/81). Outside your shop I had unrapped it to admire it and a drake came along quacking excitedly at the realistic hen. In 1983 you showed at the Wildlife Festival festival in Easton, MD and we bought the drake. They 've had a place of honor in our curio cabinet for the past 39 years.(Can it be possible!!!) receiving many compliments over the years. My goodness, you have such a sensative touch with colour, and shading of your birds. I particularly like the small barn owl, and your chickadee. Oh so nice.
