I recently made the decision to withdraw from a charity book project when I discovered that the editor intended to have an entire section on the culture of rodeos. I did not want my photographs featured in a book that ignored and/or glorified the animal abuse rampant in rodeos. Ironically, the charity to receive proceeds from the book is a shelter for battered and abused families!
