PSSD holds the first Dusty Finger Challenge

The Pastel Society of San Diego held its first Dusty Fingers Challenge. The theme was water. There were 12 of us in attendance and everyone else painted rivers, waterfalls and the ocean.

This painting comes from photos I took at the Fig Tree Cafe in Liberty Station. The light was enhancing the reflections and highlights. I just had to paint it. The size of this painting is only 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches, on sanded paper.

This was voted into 3rd place.
