I am honored to announce I was invited to judge the "Get Dusty" August Art Competition for the Pastel Guild of Europe. Finished!!! "The Photographer" A bit of stippling with pen and ink. I tend to work in black and white once a year, just to challenge myself. Unlike pastels, there is little room for error and I can't really change my mind once the ink is on the paper. This drawing is taken from one of the photographs I took of Devon on our last whale watching trip this past March. He is quite an accomplished photographer, with his work and words featured in many national and international surf magazines.
I will be entering this in La Jolla Art Associations 4th Annual Black and White Show.
