Yesterday, I received a letter from the Pastel Society of America. Following the board's scrutiny, I have been elected a Signature Member, granting me the distinction of being able to use the PSA initials after my signature. It is such an honor to join the ranks of this country's top pastel artists.
It was a full house at the La Jolla Art Association's Black and White Reception. Most of the thirty artists juried into the show were in attendance. Black and white photography was well represented and took away three of the four top honors.
