Smith Rocks’ "Royal Blue Pond”
The Why of it . . .
I want to
share with visitors to my website, why I have elected to permanently display my
"Blue Pond" Photograph on my Homepage.
This photo
is my first “Why of It . . .”
It is an example of why
I am so passionate about perfecting my
photography. The photograph was the result of my first successful encounter with
that magical Creative Fraction of a
Second. My heart always beats faster each time I am challenged to capture that second.
When I am taking a photograph, my
eyes see a composition or an expression that life itself offers me. I know this by both intuition and skill--when to click the shutter.
Because, once you
miss it, it is gone forever.
Th The "Blue Pond" photo was
my first successful encounter capturing the
beauty of the "Golden Hour" with my new digital camera.
It was also the first photo to wear one of my Custom
Rustic Frames.

Linda creates her own frames for each of her photographs. Indeed, that is what makes her photographs so very unique.
Linda takes her time when discovering the perfect frame for each photo. It may take her weeks or months. In both cases,she adds and subtracts pieces to the frame--giving herself time to allow the idea behind the whole piece to take form in her mind's eye.
