14-055 Large Bronze Forged Heart Brooch

This is a pin that will work best in a very loose knit fabric. Alternately, it will make a stunning statement as a pendant.

I heated, bent and forged a heavy guage bronze wire over and over until I achieved the heart shape.

It spent several hours in my tumbler to clean it up and work harden the wire to hold its shape. It shows definite gold color, with shades of copper, which is the main alloy of bronze. Age will only enhance the beauty of the natural oxidation.
